• Jazz Band Rehearsal on Tuesdays 3:30-5:00pm in the CMS Band Room
• After school assistance is available from Mr. Smith and Ms. Fowler.
• Fruit Orders will be delivered on December 15

Congratulations on a Successful Season
Congratulations to the Chesnee High Marching Eagles for a successful 2008 Marching Season.  The Marching Eagles capped off the year with an 8th place finish at the SC 2A State Marching Band Championships in Batesburg-Leesville, SC.  Other accomplishments this marching season include:

• October 18th, SC 2A Upper State Band Championships:  4th Place and Superior Rating
• October 4th, SC 2A Uper State Band Championships:  2nd Place in Class, Best Drum Major
• September 27th  Boiling Springs Tournament of Bands:  2nd Place in Class, Best Drum Major
• September 27th James R. Golden Invitational:  1st Place in Class, Best Drum Major, Best Drum Line, Best Horn Line; Silver Division Best Overall Effect, Best Visual, Best Music, and Grand Champions

The Marching Eagles posted their highest Upper State Score in almost nine years.  Additionally, the group matched its second highest ever state finish with 8th place.
